i repent
After working on it for more than two years, Gave's first full-length book, "I Repent," was finished in early 2011.
It is currently in the last stages of peer-editing, after which he hopes to have it published.
The book follows Gave and his friend Pat on a weeklong road trip.
In only seven days, the duo manage to visit St. Louis, Chicago, Grand Rapids, Philadelphia and Baltimore.
The book details the adventures of these Kentucky boys in the "big city."
"I Repent," however, is much more than just a travel log.
Each locale provides the backdrop for an in-depth examination of the Christian faith.
Gave confronts such issues as judgmentalism, government, the modern Church, the role of justice in faith, and environmentalism.
Along the way, he learns just how wrong he has been, and witnesses the power of repentance.
